Tee fittings, also called three-way pipe fittings, have a shape similar to the letter "T" and allow for the attachment of two horizontal pipes and one vertical pipe to control the flow and mixture of fluids. Pipe tees are primarily of two types: Equal Tee and Unequal Tee (Reducing Tee). They are commonly employed in pipe systems to convey two phase fluid mixes.
Equal tee is used when the branch size matches that of the header pipes, and reduced tee is used when the branch size is smaller than the header size. A t-shirt comes in three sizes: End x End x Center. Thus, the dimensions of a tee would be 1” x 1” x 3/4” if you wanted one that was 1” on both ends and 3/4” in the middle.
Not so regular buttweld lateral tees in carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, and nickel alloy grades are also produced by SK Tube Corporation.

Marking & Packing
Products are packaged to ensure that there is no damage during transit. In case of exports, standard export packaging is done in wooden cases. All elbow fittings are marked with Grade, Lot No, Size, Degree and our trade mark. On special requests we can also, make custom marking on our products.
Quality Assurance
At SK Tube Corporation , all fittings and flanges are subject to strict inspection at each stage of the production process, from starting material purchasing to product dispatch. They are visually examined for conformity to ASTM, ASME, MSS, DIN, EN, and JIS codes and standards. Upon request, official certified Inspection Agencies can be called in to witness the material reports, dimensions and quality conformity of products.
